Meet Dr. James Moon.
We treat the person, not the disease.
Dr. Moon believes dental care can be fun, interactive and never traumatic for kids. He found his calling in his third year of dental school, when he realized children's dental needs are just as important as adults'. Today he works to create a place where kids feel safe and comfortable, build healthy relationships between families and their dentist, and advocate for children's dental health.
Every appointment is fully focused on the child in the chair. Good education and prevention can sometimes be better than treatment. And every child gets an individualized plan that sees a whole person, not a set of symptoms.

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), University of Maryland School of Dentistry
- Pediatric dental residency, University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, including behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry and treatment under general anesthesia
- Board-eligible pediatric dentist
- Moderate sedation permit, Commonwealth of Virginia
- Member, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association

Originally from Fairfax County, Virginia. He's a big fan of Welsh Corgis, loves cooking new recipes, music and history, and traveling to new places around the world.
