Meet Dr. Jay Jayaraman Jayakumar.
Prevention first. Gentle always.
Dr. Jayaraman's care focuses on prevention and on doing only what each child truly needs. His clinical expertise covers minimally invasive dentistry, pediatric oral surgery, sedation and dental trauma.
He's also a teacher and researcher. He has taught pediatric dentistry for more than 10 years, published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, and lectured on several continents, including as a keynote speaker for the FDI World Dental Federation. He has served as Associate Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the VCU School of Dentistry, and he has volunteered worldwide caring for children, including those with special health care needs.
