About Centreville Pediatric Dentistry

Centreville Pediatric Dentistry is the Northern Virginia office of Halex Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. You'll find us on the ground floor of 14701 Lee Highway, Suite 107-108, with a dedicated parking lot right outside and wheelchair access from the lot to the front desk.

Dr. Ali Baghalian, a board-certified pediatric dentist (ABPD), sees babies, kids and teens for checkups, cleanings, sealants, fillings and baby-tooth crowns. Dr. Ahmed Alqarni, a board-certified orthodontist (ABO), treats kids, teens and adults with metal braces, clear braces and clear aligners. The orthodontic consultation is free, and you don't need a referral for either.

The first visit should happen within six months of the first tooth, and no later than the first birthday. It's a short, friendly visit: a gentle look at the teeth, tips for brushing and snacks, and plenty of time for your questions. Older kids who haven't been to a dentist in a while are just as welcome.

Anxious kids get a calm, unhurried visit. When a child needs a little more help, we offer laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and oral sedation, and your dentist explains every option before anything happens. Kids with special health care needs get longer, quieter appointments planned around them, and a parent can stay close the whole time.

Toothache, a chipped tooth or a knocked-out tooth? Call (703) 988-5883 and we'll see your child the same day. For a knocked-out permanent tooth, keep it in milk and come straight in.

We accept Virginia Medicaid and FAMIS (Cardinal Care Smiles), military plans and most commercial insurance. Our front desk checks your benefits before the visit, so there are no surprises.

Families come to us from Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton, Fairfax, South Riding, Manassas, Gainesville and Fair Oaks. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8 to 5 and Friday 8 to 4.
